IR Strobe / IR Illuminator

Setting Up the IR Strobe / Illuminator
- The IR Strobe requires 3 AAA batteries, not included. Make sure to use high quality, brand name lithium batteries.
- Carefully remove back cover and install batteries in their proper orientation; note the + and – of the batteries.
- The Power Switch is on the front of the Ir Strobe/Illuminator. To turn ON, slide the switch to the left. To turn OFF, slide to the right.
Switching Between IR Strobe and IR Illuminator
The IR Strobe has 2 modes of operation: Strobe and Illuminator.
To switch between the two modes you must turn the unit off.
IR Illuminator Mode
Using as an Illuminator:
Press and hold the mode button. Turn unit on; the IR Strobe will begin to function with the settings it had when last set. Release the mode button.
Pressing the Decrease button will dim the IR LEDs
Note: When pressed the red light will appear. A yellow light will appear when the setting is as low as it can be set.
Pressing the Increase button will increase the brightness of the LEDs.
Note: When pressed the green light will appear. A yellow light will appear when the setting is as low as it can be set.
Pressing the Mode button will change the IR Illuminator to using 1 2 or all 3 channels of lights, allowing you even more fine control over the IR light the unit produces.
Note: The yellow light will appear when pressing the mode button.
IR Strobe Mode
Using as a strobe:
Turn unit on. The IR Strobe will begin to function with the settings it had when last set.
Pressing the Decrease button will shorten the flash time of the strobe and make the strobe appear to run faster.
Note: When pressing the decrease button, the red light will appear. A yellow light will appear when the setting is as low as it can be set.
Pressing the Increase button will length the flash time and make the strobe appear slower.
Note: When pressed the green light will appear. A yellow light will appear when the setting is as high as it can be set.
Pressing the Mode button will change the strobe from sequencing from right to left to all three rows flashing at the same time.
Note: the yellow light will appear when pressing the mode button.
