Season 10 / Episode 8: Nopeming Sanatorium, The Ultrasonic receiver
The Ultrasonic Receiver is a device that uses an RF mixer and a frequency generator to take in sounds above 28KHz. Essentially the device is able to bring ultrasonic sounds down to the human audible hearing range.
This was a simple experiment to see what might lie out side the range of our normal senses.
This project was built in approximately 7 hours. Constructed with a 3D printed case and a laser engraved acrylic face plate.
